New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

but JNUS 've already mentioned that 2001 'n 2002 batch are allowed for both pre-internship as well as internship in govt. hospiatl of nepal.u can check it here for more detail.

Around 6 people has just started internship in Bir Hospital since last week. Although its not in the rule according to the source they have accepted interns.

Since the rule was brought in the Immediate past Govt. lets hope this Govt. would help us.

2001 batch Students from Xinxiang Medical College, P.R. China, had already start ed doing their internship in Bir hospital from 2006/04/29 saturday.

And, according to them, they had decision for 2001 and 2002 batch for internship. For follower to 2002 batch, they have to struggle in the meantime.
