need information regarding intership at nepal at 2009/2/15

hi,
i am the student from china and completeing the 4.5 years course at 2009 feb.. so i need the information regarding doing internship .. what documents are neceessary? when the bir hospital conduct the exam for intaking students for internship? how about the other options doing at private hospitals? how much students can do internship at kathmandu including government and private hospitals?

Thats great if you are completing your MBBS course in 4.5 years then you don't need to go through pre-internship hassles.

Well you can come to Nepal (Kathmandu) and go to Nepal Medical Council (NMC) along with your MBBS completeting certificates and citizenship and get the provisional recognition from NMC. If you want more detail let me know.

Bir conducts entrance twice a year Apr-May and Nov-Dec.MCQ type (90 questions) Bir take 65 interns at a time.

thanks yaar but i don't know the exactly which certicates to be taken from the university.. as far sa i know i couldn't get the degree n mark-sheet before completing the internship...

further since i am the first batch from this university do we need to take curriculm and teaching plan of the universities ...

In this case you email NMC at nmc@healthnet.org.np

If your college course has not been recognized by NMC contact them at In this case you email NMC at nmc@healthnet.org.np they will instruct you further.

But from tomorrow there is official holidays so better contact them after the election.
