Yes, pre-internship has been baned in Nepal.

Elective is a term used for an academic course chosen by the student from a set of options, as opposed to a required course. That means if one has 24 months of course in his study at X hospital s/he can do 1 month study in another say Y hospital. Although s/he studied 23 months in X hopsital one month is added from Y hospital and hence his course duration is complete.

Usually elective is common in western world.

Pre-inernship is actually an internship done in China where MBBS course. For more detail visit the link below

why preinternship is banned in nepal .we have also a citizenship of nepal.if 2001 and 2003 batch are allow to do preinternship in nepal than why can't we?why u all administration are playing with our future.if we will do preinternship in china than we will invest our lots of money but can't gain a knowledge.when we came to the china there was no any issues about preintern that we can't do in nepal but suddenly why this issues arrised.this rules must have to apply for all before batches not for us only........we have no time yet we have not got any decision......i know u r reply will be that we cannot get chance to do preinternship in nepal but this is not fair with us.pls give us postive reply otherwise our life will be spoil........pls pls and plsssssssssssssshelp us in this issues.............

tei ta bhanya, they made the rules now so isnt it wrong to apply to the batches of before? shudn't they apply to the new students who are going china from now on so that they will know this from beginin n choose themselvs.
