New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

DR,suvash i am a student who wanna to pursue medical graduation . in Weifang medical college in China(4.5 yrs), plz do me a favour. plz say me , can i do pre internship in nepal? if not what are the total procedure for applying pre internship and internship in nepal, what are the requirements? and yes, plz update me regarding new rules and regulation regarding internship and preinternship in nepal. plz plz do me a reply.

Dear Prachanda,
Thank you so much for your query. I feel sorry to say that pre internship has been banned in Nepal.

However, you can do internship once you are eligible i.e. after your 4.5 years of medical education. Once you pass out from your college, you will have to contact NMC and get provisional registration and apply for the internship in Bir Hospital but you will have to go through entrance examination conducted by the hospital.
