You wouldprobably be best to contact a NGO or Medical Charity and seek their sponsorship of your internship. The Leprosy Mission sends out electives on an annual basis to leprosy hospitals in both India and Nepal.

Pre-Internship used to be done in the government hospital in Nepal. Since Nepal Government has stopped taking preinternship in their hospital it seems that you will have a tough time to do pre-inernship in Nepal.

By the way elective and pre-inernship is not the same thing. Elective is something like you do your clinical posting of short duration in any institute which is very common in western countries not in our part of the world.
