Killing attempt to senior doctor at KMC - 20-12-2005, 05:52 AM

xenoMED condemned the brutal act of Killing attempt to a senior doctor at KMC Parking area by two unidentified persons in a Motor Cycle.

By the grace of God he didn't get any injury. We wish for his long life. May god never forgive those people behind this act.

It is a shame to the humanism, hope Medical professionals, societies and other citizen of Nepal would condemned this act.

We urge His Majesty Govt. of Nepal to bring the culprit to the jusctice and send them behind the jail for life.

Personally I am very much hurt by this incidence, I wish for his long life and may this type of incidence never occur in the future.

Please send your word of sympathy and support to our urge to the His Majesty Govt. of Nepal through this forum.

hi everyone,
I am shocked to hear this.Dr.Rana is a very strict, principled and fearless person. Some coward must have had some grudge on him.If that person or a group had guts they should have come infront of him talk to it out and not hide and shoot. He doesnt mince with words and says his mind which is rare these days.
He is a fabulous doctor, full of medical knowledge, specially in endocrinology. He also is a great administrator.During his term as a director KMC stood from rubble to stand tall as it is right now.His presence and continued service is of utmost importance for KMC's march towards success.
Who ever did this is a coward, unable to stand infront of Dr.Rana's personality.He/she should be hunted down and brought to justice.
I am sure this stray incident wont hamper Dr.Rana's strong will and determination.
May Lord Pashupatinath protect him from the evils that plague our society these days.

with best wishes,

Love Nepal

hi - 21-12-2005, 03:35 AM

its a matter of shame that such an incident is going on at day light in the place known as the capital of the country which is supposed to be the safest among all. i hardly get any word to describe such brutal and heinous act, i can only demand for prompt and strict action from the related authority. if such acts go on in kathmandu then what will be the condition outside the valley? what is the government doing- i am shocked and hurt.
