Smile Which would u think will be held ? - 20-01-2006, 03:21 AM

The 7th Margh's Peaceful rally was affected by the curfew. in fact the curfew was imposed to stop the protest.
On the other had this Margh 26th, it is announced that Municipality Election will be held..
Q? A Question arrises whether the Election will be conducted or not..

it's not the issue weather election will occur or not, innepal even a single person vote, election will be valid. this is really sad.but even if it occurs, it won't be peaceful and the voters will be very less unless any foul play happen.j bhayapani sat dal sanga janatako support chha yaar...we can catch them whenever they do mistake....so i strongly poppose tike pratha and bhajan mandali...what about u guys.?

I find that the alliance did a great mistake by ignoring the election. The King, as he had promised, declared election. It was his duty he did it. But why do the alliance necessarily challenge the King, like हामी पनि बाउको छोरा हौ, यसलाई त देखाएरै छाद्छौ kind of concept, ráther than working together.

We all know कोइ कसै भन्दा कम छैनन्, both party and king have done and are doing great mistakes. I personally would support reconciliation between king and the alliance; but this election should also fairly take place. They should go for a Start de novo, with a strong vision to promote social and economical development.
In my view, our country is very lucky de facto to have so much friends and supporter worldwide. It could gain lot of Investors from around the world. We could have better ski places than those in alpine, could have hundreds of Zürich between Dipayal and Dhankuta. I meet here again and again people, who are really worried about situation in nepal, and they remember their days back in 70s-80s in Nepal, and say it was a dreamland. I have seen many german forums where ppl solely discuss on Nepal's situation. I really feel sad in such situation, as Nepal is not able to take advantage of being Nepal. Unfortunately we are lacking a real leader, a revolutionary and visionary Icon. What a bad Luck!!

Its the idea that most of we would support. But at this stage, nothing would work. Reconciliation is an ideal part now... the partys never get back to it and the King will never be on his knees. so just we can do is seeing it and saying that really bad things are happenning.
70s and 80s were great time in history of Nepal, then came the Democracy. Democracy never been an ideal concept for Nepal.

It has become very obvious today who has won.You cannot force an election to a nation whose priority is PEACE,PEACE and PEACE,everythingelse comes after it.
As i posted few days back,www.samudaya.org has a audio and video section which has speeches of Kunda Dixit and Gagan thapa.Once we listen to them it becomes crystal clear what is that this nation needs and how can we get there.

THE POLITICAL TURMOIL IN NEPAL IS REALLY HEART RENDING FOR ANY WELL WISHER OF NEPAL. THE ELECTION IS NOT A SOLUTION TO RESOLVE THE CURRENT POLITICAL CRISIS. ELECTION MAY BE HELD BUT IT HOLDS NO ANY VALIDITY AND INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION AS IT IS ACTIVELY BOYCOTTED BY MAJOR POLITICAL PARTIES AND SOVEREIGN PEOPLE. SO IT IS CERTAIN THAT THIS ELECTION IS SURE TO ENTAGLE NEPAL IN A VICIOUS CYCLE OF CONFLICT AND WAR.
