I visited Pasang Lhamu-Nicole Niquille Hospital Lukla on the way to Everest Base Camp for
Everest Marathon 2007 along with Dr. Sabin and Dr. Samyak.
We wanted to visit the hospital and Dr. Jagmo who is friend of mine beside this Dr. Sabin had already served this hospital for sometimes so obvioulsy he would love to meet the hospital staffs too. Dr. Jangmo is the only doctor at the moment with two canadian volunteer doctors and few hospital staffs.
Dr. Ang Tshering Sherpa served this hospital for more than a year and then Dr. Jagmo appointed.
I appreciated infrastructure and facilities provided by this hospital. I learned that this hospital do provide lodging & fooding for any Doctor who wish to work on a volunteer basis. It is an opportunity for those who wish to serve the community at this altitude.
