it was superb to me the experience wise; i had never been so close with the folks in our country side; i really enjoyed the service i gave to them, so innocent people..
honestly, i'm very thankful to you -RAAZ- for you'r the first person of 'xenomed' whom i approached in person & yess later everybody in a team i found friendly & kind..
should organize such events regularly so that we, the learners with similar passion & anxieties can interact our knowledge among one another..
the event was a success as we all know but one thing i would like to point out is that from next time we need one or two senior/s with us to check us & guide us toward the absolute art of medicine.. i hope everybody agrees in this.. thank you everybody

Thanks Graduate. It was really a pleasure for us too to know you and get together for an interactive programme in the first meet. We hope to be in touch with you in the future programmes too.

About the senior doctors, I am really sorry graduate because the doctors who were supposed to come that day couldn't actually join us because of their personal works. Only Dr. Chachindra who is a Medical Officer in Paedriatics at KMCTH and an active and a very old member of xenoMED could join us that day and we all could see that he was very busy with the paedriatics section. Even Dr. Angel missed the camp as he had to attend the NMA programme. However, I think we should take it as an opportunity to gain an experience to do things on our own. Actually I was supposed to assist Dr. Angel on that day but coz of his absence all the responsibilty was handed over to me and my executive friends of xenoMED and we did our best. All the Credits & Thanks goes to all of you friends who very actively worked together that day and made it a success. Thank You.
The same way I hope you too gained an experience to work on your own. I am sure it wouldn't have been the same if there were seniors doctors too coz surely there develops a kind of dependence when you have someone above you.
Well, I took it that way. I hope I took it right!
However, next time we will make sure that we don't miss some senior doctors.
Thanks again for the feedback and please be in touch.

Sarensa, you were absolutely right. The medicines that were actually essential were few in number and I who had been looking over medicine distribution with my friends Kabit, Dwight and Bishwo faced a lot of problems coz of that. People would come for medicines like Antacids and Omeprazole which we ran out off very soon and had to return them empty handed but the problem was, they would see a lot of medicines in the room and think that we were not providing them medicines thoough we had them. Actually we had a lot of cough syrups and antibiotics but had very few required medicines that day.
Its not that we hadn't thought of that earlier but due to the Terai bandh, most of the pharmaceuticals were out of sample medicines and the medicines that we were looking for weren't reaching Kathmandu and so we had to collect what ever we got. It was a bad luck.
However, hope it doesn't happen so next time.

The pic below is a part of the medicine distribution room and we can see that the whole section is filled up with cough syrups and antibiotics.
