Opening game was great. Bavarian started it perfectly with their traditional shows. In germany they say only the bavarian have been able to maintain their tradition. So, no doubt they started with traditional bavarian clothes ,
lederhose (leatherpants), bavarian hats with feather etc. I was not much satisfied by german defensive side but young striker and midfield have improved their
Niveau. MG within 17 minutes 3 goals, that is the game .
It seems like this world cup is 1000 times more important for germans than x-mas or any other occasion. One could feel it everywhere. You could hardly see autos in world's busiest roads before the match began.
People are gathering at places where they watch football with their friends. They have painted their forehead and face with back red and gold. they wear same colored flag like a superman. Everywhere you can see beers and football.
After the match, streets were suddenly full with enthusiastic people saying "berlin berlin wir gehen nach berlin" = "berlin berlin we will go to berlin" means they will accompany german team till final in berlin on 9 july. Streets again looked normal (busy), autos running with flags of germany and they were even blowing the horn.
Everywhere issue is only football. It's amazing even for me. I have never seen this country so connected. All are cheered up. Seems like a mega (giga tera) festival for germany.
