Its a very good sign that the members of the reinstated parlaiment have declared that they would deny the salaries they should have got as a member and moreover the CPN UML is declaring to raise some funds fron their salaries to give to the families of the matyrs. Good gestures.
But regarding their plausibilty they are still on doubt. They are the same netaz who had failed again and again and i dont think the maoist are any different. what they want is the power like any one else. Its a different story that their voilence has finaly depowered the king(seems like that).We must not forget that they had chosen the voilent way when they lost all scope for their principle in the multiparty democracy.(they got only 4 seats) and i still have a stong doubt of their coming back to the main political stream and satisfy being a may be "third biggest" political party instead of ruling the unruled part of the country and being the centre of media all over the world. Their ultimate ambition is to make the South Asian region an united republic.  |
