Power is always with the people.
Nepalese specially in kathmandu are becoming more and more irresponsible. They wanted to be treated like a Hero and hear only good things about them while in reality they are just a bunch of jokers dancing in the tune of whoever is making them dance.
When anyone admires the April revolution, kathmanduites bring that ugly smile in their face as if saying 'hey, that was us'. . . go to hell, it was not them. That time also it was irresponsible people who in fact didn't know what they were doing. It was some politicians making them dance to their tune.
Now that sometimes things looks not so nice, they cannot step back and say it was not them. It was them again.
In a mob, each and every Nepali acts brave and when they are alone. . . they are nothing.
What is happening around in the country is shameful. Not only this incident but many others. There is anarchy everywhere and it is us who created such environment.
Now that there is a struggle between SPA/Maoist and the royal regime. Do we need monarchy?
'royal' is being just wiped out from everywhere. Do these people really understand what they are doing?
No. They don't. They just know 'royal' is bad. May be, we all who were born during royal regime should also think of jumping off a cliff.
So, do we need monarchy?
To hell with 'monarchy' and to hell with rest. We don't need a government if each and every people here start being a Nepali rather than bunch of coward fools. Our Nepali heart and mind can understand what is wrong and what is right but everyone is so blinded that no one can really see where and when and what is going wrong.
The Govt . . . what are they to do? They are not magicians that overnight they will make things work when the country is already a pile of shit. But they have power and when they have power, they have potential to under-use, over-use, or misuse. But it is again Nepalese people who should be responsible and give them the guideline.
The med professionals? They were in deep slumber till now - NMA. Where were they when the first such incidence happened? It is almost late. Could these intelligent idiots not understand before that people here don't understand until something is shoved somewhere? Country listens to only revolts then give them one.
What will Med Protection Act do until people know they have reached their limits? Enough should be enough! Just making Acts is not a solution. Until Nepalese remember how to respect each other, there is no solution. When they were brought up, I am sure they were taught by their mother how to respect other but they have forgotten that. All they know is how to raise their voice and stretch their arms in a mob. They are hooligans.
If a doctor makes a mistake, law should see what is to be done. If guilty, they should be punished but it is not angry mob that decides what is right or wrong.
It is useless talking over this as we have been seeing around us, everywhere it is always angry mob that decides what was right and what was wrong. . .
So, in few years, what will Nepal have?
To hell with services and Nepalese. Those who can will find a place in US. These doctors who can practice in US as good doctors could have served Nepalese but it is these bunch of fools that has scared them away.
In summary, we all are responsible. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Walrus For This Useful Post: | | | Member | | Posts: 74 Thanks: 3

Is this "New Nepal"?
Nepal, at present is in a deadly "transition" phase. Nobody knows where Nepal and Nepalese are going to end up.
So, all "irresponsible nepalese" wake up and decide where you all want to be.
You know who's going to suffer from this doctors strike. Its going to be we nepalese, our parents, our childrens, our relatives, our pregnant womens etc. Don't force them to shut down the ER services too.
So all irresponsible nepalese if you still have brains left please think yourself. Don't get triggered away!! We are already into deep deep ***t and don't dip us further into it. And if you think you are doing it, rem'em there's always someone breathing down your nose!!
We nepalese should create comfortable environment for the doctors to work or do you want your treating doctors to constantly treat you and your family constantly under pressure? Afterall doctors are human too.

i went for irresponsible citizen, after voting i thought all the option and then stucked at nepal government, as nepal medical association has stated in its press release then i thought its the government fault.
i am also sick and tired due to this kind of violence. first and foremost thing would be to have a law like nma said medical protection act, poeple at least would think twice that there is a law.
peole don't realized the there is a law. have anyone heard about doing similar kind of violence in the other profession NO, i haven't heard at least.
the other day i read about an attack over the supreme court judge and then nepal govt. immediately provide police protection for those personnel but later on the story was came out to be different that the person didn't attack that judge but had recorded the convesation between the judge and that person and judge realized that he had been taped and then he said the person attacked him.
so its power talk, he had the power and politician in his hand and poitician inturns run the government and they provide immediate police protection to all the supreme court judge.
similarly medical protection act has to be kept in the constitution it wil help to reduce the no of violence althought there would be mad people everywhere.
no human being is perfect in this world, human do mistake but there are proper way to handle the situation violence is not the solution.
please please please stop it, if it goes on its we (nepalese people) who suffer the most, i haven't heard this kind of violence in other country. I Love xenoMED | | The Following User Says Thank You to MedicalGeek For This Useful Post: | | | xenoMED Advisor | | Posts: 367 Thanks: 0

Doctors have halted all medical services, except emergency services, from today till December 29 demanding enforcement of the Medical Protection Act and severe punishment to those involved in manhandling medical professionals and vandalism.
Tuesday's meeting of the Nepal Medical Association, along with representatives of government hospitals and directors of private hospitals announced the three day strike from today.
Dr. Kiran Shrestha, general secretary of NMA said, "The attacks on medical professionals and vandalism is increasing everyday and we cannot work in such an environment."
The out patient department of Kanti Children's Hospital, Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Bir Hospital and Prasuti Griha (Maternity Home) remained closed on Tuesday as part of the protest programme against the manhandling of the doctors and vandalism at Kanti Hospital on December 25.
One person died at the Bir Hospital due to lack of treatment. Following the incident, relatives of the deceased and doctors engaged in shuffle. Similarly a team of over a dozen doctors beat up a student from Ratna Rajya School for treatment to Bir Hospital. According to Kantipur daily, he was beaten up while talking to Kantipur Television about the denial of treatment to the student.

Did it strike your mind why this student from Ratna Rajya was stressing he is a 'student'? We all are someone or the other. Why bring this communal issue here?
Doctors are on strike means they are not providing service to anyone - student or not. (except emergency services).
Why are these students demanding to be treated as 'special' class of people? What have they done till now? They are the ones who should also feel responsible for this anarchy. Just go thru some recent news of his college and see if that was them being 'good students'. Students are the acting worse in this transition phase. When students should be demanding of good education, they are not doing so. They are 'affiliated' to and are living under umbrella of some political party. Should they not be demanding of an environment to study? When students should be working to keep politics outside their college gate, they are the ones igniting political issues in the country.
And this fellow wanted treatment because he was a 'student'. Doctors were good that they just beat him up. He should have been treated more severely and taught him how students should be.
Today this guy tried to speak as a 'student' and tomorrow there will be 'newar', 'bahun', 'black', 'white', 'congress', and 'UMLs' . . . This guy tried to raise an issue here and it is good that doctors were wise enough to stop it right there and right then, otherwise this could have gone ugly.
I am not talking anything about 'maoists' and 'journalist/Patrakar'. There is nothing to say about them. Everything is understood. They are above any existing law.
U raised this question so think would it have been nice if a 'student' was given a treatment and not the rest of 97% Nepalese. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Walrus For This Useful Post: | | | | | Posts: 76,191 Thanks: 104

I agree with Walrus
No groups get special treatment during this strike, except for real emergencies. So, don't mess with doctors or you are messing with someones' life again!!!
And media peoples please please show some degree of professionalism and no cheap popularity will be tolerated this time. | | The Following User Says Thank You to Ne_pal For This Useful Post: | | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
