New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. i have a query - 18-04-2008, 12:45 PM

it wd be gr8 if someone can help me with this: i have my step2 ck exam on 30th may n my CS exam is on 20th june... the two exams r so close by that im apprehensive whether two weeks is time enuf for preparation of CS??.... I WANNA KNOW HOW MUCH MINIMUM TIME NEEDS TO BE DEVOTED TO CS PREPARATION ?

There is no exact date as when to give CS after IICK however things aren't same as before CS has become one of the toughest exam in the USMLE now.

If you are not confident don't go for it, CS is not a joke now... seriously once you flung in the CS your whole schedule will be derailed and you will find getting residency next to impossible.

Most of the people from Nepal couldn't make CS in 2007 and the failure rate might even increase this year because of this most of the Nepalese couldn't get residency this year.

Lets to be specific, two week gap between II CK and CS would be very difficult for you, if you want to go with the existing schedule keep practicing from now onwards when you become saturate studying II CK.

Yeah, CS is definitely not a joke, its a very big step and i believe its the most important phase of USMLE. so, i wish alll those appearing for CS all the best and suggest that please do a very good homework before appearing for the Exam.
