Here is another one regarding the GI- system
A 44 year old male present with the sudden onset of severe right upper quadrent(RUQ) abdomianl pain, ascites, tender hepatomegaly and hematemesis. These symptoms are suggestive of Budd- Chiari syndrome, a disorder that is caused by
A. Obstruction of Common bile duct
b. Obstruction of intrahepatic sinusoids.
C. Thrombosis of the hepatic artery
D. Thrombosis is hepatic vein
E. Thrombosis of the portal vein

Yh, its D.

Budd-Chiari syndrome is a rare disorder caused by blood clots that completely or partially block the large veins that carry blood from the liver (hepatic veins).

yep. u are correct answer is D.Thrombosis of hepatic vein
