New cases in Pous 2064, HIV = 175, AIDS = 26, Death = 2. HIV rate is very high in Housewives than sex workers in Nepal ! ! ! HIV status in Nepal till 2005: Total Adult=70000, Adult Prevalence (15-49)=0.55%, Number of Women (15-49) LWHA=15,310 (22%), HIV Prevalence rate in IDUs=32.7%, HIV prevalence rate in sex worker=3.8%, HIV prevalence rate in client of SW=2.1%. The latest U.N. report shows that 65 million people have been infected with HIV since it was first identified 25 years ago. Twenty five million people have died of AIDS.

Nepalese Ambassador to China visits Tianjin Medical University - 22-03-2008, 12:26 PM
Yesterday (21 March,'08) Mr. Tanka Prasad Karki, Nepalese ambassador to People's Republic of China was here in Tianjin Medical University. He along with his wife and other officials visited the university, met students & also gave a speech addressing the students. I don't know about other universities but this is the first time during my student years in Tianjin Medical University, any government official visited the university although this university is very near to the embassy in Beijing. This visit was really held on short notice and no special functions were organized.

Watch the video of the speech, I shot it with my digi-cam so could not get all the speech due to lack of memory storage but I have covered almost most of the speech.
(and yes please watch & listen it carefully, I just wonder sometimes when I hear such a pleasant speech.. yes it's really pleasant to hear and am being sarcastic for sure I'm looking forward for comments. Thank you.
