suffix "day"

i wondered .. what is so special about the word day.. it is the powerful affix i have ever known. its venture with any creates something special....

mothers day, fathers day,valentines day... the endless list follows..

whatever be the reason the outcome is overwhelming. it allows us to appreciate something someone in our life.. well as " someone" (n...) said we dont need any day to do so.

we dont really dont but what harm does it make to have a day for someone u love.

i dont know why the nomenclature itself makes it something out of this world. b'day boy or gals have different charm. valentines day gf and bf mothers day my mom and fathers day my dad..

i still remember when i surprised my mom with gifts funny ones but i was only 8 i guess.. she was so happy (and was laughing over my gifts).

every now and then u have to have ur love acknowledged. we really dont do that? may be that's why such 'days' are created. i mean how many of us really tell our mom and dad they love them.it is always left unsaid.i have never told my sister i love her or my brother..

have u ever tried that??

(is it only left for bfs and gfs)

if not then may be that is the reason why any days are made. to remind of us our loved ones.
