He, a 40 year old male, had been admitted in a hospital with increasing distension of abdomen and with multiple hard lumps all around the stomach since two weeks. He had constant dull pain all over the abdomen. Later investigations revealed that he had NHL (Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma). Then we have to present the case next day in morning conference in detail. There we have to defend our diagnosis and answer relevant questions.
In one of my turns, I admitted a 21 year old lady who already had two children. When I received the case in Emergency (7.00PM), her Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) was 8/15 whereas it was written 13/15 in emergency... | xenoMED Advisor | | Comments 1

This is not because I wanted nor was due to lack of time I couldn't visit the site where I'm in a responsible position. There are certain things that are personal, social and sometimes just they matter and make you little puzzled and hinder in your work performance. May be, I could blame them and take satisfaction. I just wanted to say I'm back.

I have resumed my busy schedule of the college/Hospital. I have started from Gynae/Obs and it is 24 hour duty on every fourth day (ie including overnight!). Today, right now I just came out of OPD and lunch because it is lunch hour 1-2PM and checking our site. At 2 PM I will have to be in evening round. I did overnight duty last night in Labour Room which was so hectic that we couldnot have tea. There were so may C/S and referred (extremely complicated)... | xenoMED Advisor | | Comments 0
