Misunderstanding among medical students

This is something a much talked subject during medical school like

• My College is the best
• Our College graduate are best
• That College is shit
• That College guys has ego problem

And so on.... I can agree on first two point but not last two. Everyone has right to think that they are best just like my parents are best in the world for anyone their parents are best ever.

So, obvioulsy we don't have problem for first two points but when they start using last two points and related then it is not good. I can't say my friend that your parents are bad (infact they arn't).

Sometime I'm surprise to see negative commenst like you know that is my college topper, he wasnt' good enough I would have topped but blah blah blah.

See how people try to hide their failure interms of showing or saying someone is not good.

Well kahrelnirmal, I guss the person you talked might not be from NMC and it is the great disadvantage of public chat softares like we even don't know the person sitting next to me in the cybercafe is the one who I am talking to.

If anyone have to be rude to someone in the public chat room they would take someone names other than their.

Anyway whoever took that college name or whatever but indicated the failure attitude to you through those words. At least I can say that either that person might not be a girl because usually boys use girl name and might not be from that college.

Bottom line, yes you said it

A success of a man doesn't related to its origing but his/her deeds something like not everyone who have graduated from Harward or John Hopkins Medical school have contributed to the world.

Or lets say not everyone who have topped SLC have contributed much to our country or say not everyone who have passed +2 from best +2 school have done extraordinary things. Somewhere I read - Nothing is bad or nothing is good its just a thinking make it so.

So, kharelnirmal, don't take those comments hearlty think that that girl was ignorant of this facts and has to learn a lot.

Think that she is still a BACHCHA

I can't say if that girl was really a girl from NMC, and thats not important, but it is the matter of attitude that deserves discussion.
As an IOMite, I hear comments that are not based on me, but upon the impression of the commenter on IOM n medical students in general. What I believe is, everyone is first himself/herself, then only a medical student or else, from this or that n so on.
Its a shadow of the impressionistic attitude of our society that forces medical students to be 'big' doctors, no matter if they really become a good human being.

More than that his fellow medico_iom has been expressing his doubt, disbelief, suspicion and grandiosity here over another IOMite!!! We can imagine how grumbling, disgruntle, egoism, superiority complex among IOM students prevalent. Even there is among IOMites, we can imagine what they think themselves and others!!!

Being a student of IOM or KMC.., does not tell everything. Its all depends upon a student himself. But people enjoy talking bad about others, so med students. May be there is something inside, which makes to hate the students from other college. May be IOM students think , ohh KMC, ??? Sons of Rich father, dont know anything.... And private college student think that they are like IOM STUDENT, even better. What i wanna say is its not about being a student of an Institution. For a medical person, like any others , the most important thing is Knowledge.
Do you equally respect the students studying in china? and what about Russia? So we have to wait and see, who is going to be a good doctor? Neither all from IOM are the best, nor From KMC.
So comparing the university, college ..., and telling we r better than that...., is not logical .

I don't think the college really matters a lot, all that matter is the knowledge & attitude of that person. Even a guy who has studied from China or Russia can be better than that of KMC or IOM students.

Really sad to hear such things from any medical student, but hope we people can be little bit more mature to make any such comment.....
