Flood victims or Prashant Tamang
I know its good that one Nepali origin guy is in the Indian Idol 3 final. Millions of people are spending lots of money and collecting to make Prashan Tamang the third Idian Idol.
Thousands of Nepali people are also working on collecting fund for him.
But isn't it irony that you are not taking care of your own home and worrying about someone else.
And I don't think Prashant is more important than helping for flood victims.
Look at the flood victims in Nepal. Thounsads have become homeless, there is no proper health facility hundreds are dying and not to mention the chaos among those affected districts.
Although Nepali people are contributing Kantipur in association with Kumari bank collected more than a hundred million for flood victims that is something a great achievement.
I haven't heard that much amount of money being collected for such relief.
Many other countries are lending their helping hand to Nepal.
Instead of going around for cheap pouplarity guys please help the flood victims.
Your single pie can make a difference for homeless people.

| | CSF, U r certainly right. We are giving too much importance just because it is in the media. Prashant is becoming a national hero without any reason and we do not know how true is what we are seeing in TV. We do not know what goes behind the curtains and we do not know if it is just a clever idea of the TV channel to get the attention. We are becoming irrational. Prashant saying he is of Nepali is in no way different than Udit saying he likes India. There will be more people who will appreciate Udit than Prashant. Nepal is sinking and people are dying of hunger everyday and those do not reach media as much as Prashant reaches media. I was also surprised by what Nepalese in US are about to do. There are many Nepali singers that they can take on a tour. I don't understand why it has to be Prashant. U raised a right issue and we should discourage this media hype. Good Luck |
