here is some of my try please corret if i am wrong
1.A brief outline of the seqential changes in AMI are
First week ....... Bright yellow to yellow green Being of resorption of necrosed fibres by macrophages onset of soft fibrovascular response neutrophils gradually disappear............
Second week .... Red-purple periphery Necrosed muscle mostly removed, neutrophils disappear fibrocollagenic tissue at the periphary
Third week . Red-purple periphery Necrosed muscles from larger infarcts removed more in growth of fibrocollagenic tissue.
Fourth week ...... hin, grey-white, hard, shrunken fibrous scar. Increased fibrocollagenic tissue. decreased vascularity fewer pigmented macrophages lymphocytes and plasma cells
2.Complications of Myocardial infarction
short term
1 arrhythmias due to involve involvement of conduction tissue...
2. Left ventricular failure..
3 Rupture of myocardium – external (majority) and internal (minor).
4 Papilary muscle dysfunction..
5 Mural thrombosis and acute paricarditis..
long term
6 chronic intractableleft heart failure due to inadequate pumping.
7 Ventricular aneurysm( in 10% of long term survivors)..
8 Recurent Midue to underlying coronary artery insufficiency
9.Dressler’s syndrome:- A form of autoimmunemediated pericarditisassociated with high ESR,develops in only few cases afterinfraction

3.Rheumatic heart diseases follows a preceding streptococcal infection of the throat and URT caused by Beta hemolytic streptococci of Lancefield group ..A.
4.MacCallum's patches are found in ..... Rheumatic fever
5.Syndenham's chorea is also known as ... St. Vitus Dance................... dance which occurs particularly in (boys / girls ?) Affects females about twice as often as males
6.In Monkebergs medial calcific sclerosis the ..intima................. layer is not involved.
7. FOAM cells are found in ..lipid laden macrophage..........( Verruciform Xanthoma.).
8. BARR bodies are found in ......female.................. (male/female/both/none)
(The condensed, inactive X-chromosome found in the nuclei of somatic
cells of most female mammals)

(indicater of erythropoiesis)

10. Whooping cough is caused by the microorganism .... bacterium Bordetella pertussis
11. The first heart transplant was done by ...... 1967 by South African
surgeon Christiaan Bernard (1922-2001), on December 3 . The recipient was Louis Washkansky
