Apex of heart lies at 5th intercosta space , 9 cm from the midline but the apex of the pericardium lies at the level of Angle of Louis and fuse with the root of great vessels.
Area of superficial dullness : the part of heart (sternocostal) that lies behind the
cardiac notch and uncovered by lungs.
Embryologically fossa ovalis and annulus ovalis are the remnants of septum primum and septum secundum respectively.
Madelungs deformity ? Subluxation of the lower end of ulna , due to retarded growth of lower end of radius.
Normal amount of fluid in pleural space is : 5-10 ml
