Hello kind people

I am 54 years old and am dealing with CAD and DHF (DHF diagnosed by myself....

) I am taking atenolol, Advantix (ARB), plavix, and Lasix (as needed).
Recently my ninth cardiac cath showed a LVEDP of 24mmhg. My left atrium is slightly enlarged. I have a prior mi (4 years ago) with little damage. I have 5 stents. I have unstable angina relieved by nitro.
I have 4 stents end to end and slightly overlapping, beginning at the "very ostial" portion of my LAD. The last stent replaced a restenosed stent, inserted after rotoblational arthectomy at UAB, in lieu of bypass surgery (suggested at a smaller hospital). The other stent is in my OM and is widely patent after 2 years.
I am scheduled for MID-CAB evaluation at the Cleveland Clinic next month.
Neither of my cardiologist have mentioned these abnormalities to me. Meaning my local cardiologist, or the doctor at the CC that inserted my last stent. Also most of my echo dimentions of my chambers were at the high end of the normal range. Is this range age adjusted?
Why are cardiologist so secretive? I am learning that DHF is not as well understood as SHF. I have lots of swelling in my feet and ankles. My weight flucuates wildly from taling Lasix, but not everyday. Somehow I do not like this drug. My hearing is bad, and I read it could make it worse. I don't see how it could be good for one's kidneys.
It bothers me when I take my prescribed dose of 80 mg, and do not urinate. Maybe no edema?
I got off track but if anyone could give me some information and guidance in dealing with DHF, I would be most grateful.
I am also wondering if the bypass of my LAD will decrease the LVEDP, and allow me to reverse the DHF?
Another question I have is how could I have a good "target" for the cardio/thoracic surgeon, when the first 3.19 inches of my LAD is stented? Will the mammary graft allow blood to flow in either direction in my LAD? How will this effect the hemodynamics of my coronary artery blood flow?
Thanks very much in advance for reading these ramblings
