dental problem- find it interesting!!! - 17-08-2007, 10:19 PM

I believe I could use some help from the pioneers of our Country. Here is the situation:

It had been two days my jaw started giving me pain. I can't open my mouth wide, a slice of bread would cause pain. With this I went to a dental doctor who wasn't there. I was attended by a nurse, OH MY GOD! She is terrible. Since the wisdom tooth was pushing my (I don't know the name of the tooth that far at the left-bottom side of my jaw) tooth and had a tiny tumor in between the new tooth and the existing. We decided to remove the new comer and it was like hell. She is inexperienced and her work made my situation worse. I scolded her and step out asking her to think about another job. I do not have my tooth removed but I am in a deep pain. Any suggestions!!!

Dear Vinod

Sorry to hear about unsuccessful toot extraction.

Since you tried but failed to take it out, I think it is deeply impacted and need another surgical intevention which include reflecting tissues and bone might have to be cut and even tooth.

I know its a very painful moment and health facility in US is not the same as you would get in Nepal, specially for this kind of minor surgery.

Above all you can't buy antibiotic as easily as you would do here. Therefore, I would request you to see another dental surgeon and have another try, till then you can have any antibacterial mouth wash (e.g. chlorhexidine) and use three times a day.

All the best.

This is a good news, I think I am okay now. Everything appears to be fine, just a bit of pain around that area.
