I am 21 years old. These symptoms are very frequent.

The physician did not perform any endoscopy, she just did physical examination.

if it is that frequent then why not to do an endoscopic examination? plz talk with ur physician about this alternative too. and for minor symptomatic relief, take frequent but less at each meal, donot take spicy food, keep ur headend a little elevated while sleeping, donot go to bed immediately after dinner and u can take antisecretary agents to reduce gastric acid secretion. these are all for acid peptic disease. but i again suggest u to have a full check up coz we need to exclude all other causes. these kind of symptoms may also arise due to the problem of hepatobiliary system. and if u worry much about anything, plz do not.....thats really bad..

21 yrs old with burning sensation of mid-upper abdomen only . .

Does that much describe you? If U can then tell us exactly how the pain is and where and is there any relation with food - meaning if U get pain by eating or food relieves pain. Then we would also like to know how is your bowel.

Add to it anything we have missed.

Plus, we would like to know if U smoke or not and how much you drink.

The doctor did only physical examination but U said that U were told ur 'liver is hard' - did the doctor tell you more than that? Did he advise for ultrasound?

Disclaimer - we won't be able to help you much nor are we in a position to prescribe you anything in forum. Get hold of a good doctor and keep us just to guide you through it.
