it would really be a great news if this guy proves to be another buddha, as bishow says we are definitely in need of another buddha who would help to ease the tension growing dangerously not only in our nation but the whole world.

but i think just meditating under a tree won't make you a buddha suitable for the present world. the time when siddhartha became buddha was different than today so we neeed a different type of buddha, one who is dynamic and who can cope with the present crisis, so what a modern buddha will look like- i don't know but definitely different than the one before.
