Hey David,
That was just an APRIL FOOL post by Himalayan Times. I think you didn't see the 3rd page (left top corner). This is their trend, printing a April Fool post every year on April 1st. Check that out. Last year it was "YETI SEEN IN NEPALI HIMALAYA"
