In my opinion, this can be considered 'negligence' and Council should take appropriate action in time instead of waiting for worse to happen. And, also make things transparent so that everyone comes to know what was done.

But in a day or two, we won't be hearing anything about this. That will always give rise to confusion and then some group might be revolting against that giving the whole thing an ungly picture.

U r right. Docs should be more serious with their work. The remark made my hospital saying it is just a 'human error' is dangerous. They should apologise sincerely and make sure appropriate action is taken if they care to avoid any bad outcome of such negligence in future.

Government and Police are not to be blammed. It's the NMC that should be responsible for this. And remember, it is us who have elected the body of NMC so we are also equally responsible if we cannot make NMC take action against such things.

And, there will be many errors but be 'professional' in judging them and speaking against them. Govt and Police should not be dragged into our community for such things that can be settled by our community and if they attempt to do so, we should be the one speaking against them. Medical community is responsible enough to settle such conflicts.
