Where did u read that Meigs' syndrome consists of hydropneumothorax? In 1937 Meigs et al reported 7 cases of fibroma of ovary with ascites and pleaural effusion(hydrothorax) which was published in American Journal of Obst & Gyne.

Pneumothorax or hydropneomothorax is not a feature of Meigs' syndrome.
