I am a masters degree student and I write MD, one of my chinese frens is a doctoral degree student, he also writes MD, my supervisor has completed postdoc, and he writes MD,PhD.

.. when a MBBS from Nepal gets US medical licence, he can use MD there coz the licence says Medical Doctor (MD).
MD is specialization and MBBS is primary medical qualification. And its true a doc can't have an MD without primary med quali. However, Dr xyz MBBS, MD sounds good hehe. Actually I have also written the same in my all publications. I have seen some docs who love to write Dr xyz BSc,MBBS,MD. This makes sense. I am thinking to write ISc MBBS MD
. I have heard that many German docs having two doctoral degrees actually refer to themselves Dr.Dr. xyz. Isn't it just like MBBS,MD? Prof.Dr. xyz is also the same. The fact is that docs in Nepal,India and Pak prefer to write 'Dr. xyz MBBS,MD'. and if you have such qualification then i think you can write whatever u like.
