Bradicardia in Inferior or posterior MI is due to increased vagal tone. However, in anterior MI there is increased sympathetic stimulation becoz of fixed stroke volume of infarcted left ventricle and heart tries to maintain cardiac output by increasing heart rate (as you know CO=SV x HR).
