Post Re: An Eye into Theory of Chinease Traditional Medicine - 04-04-2007, 11:49 AM

well this chapter deals with six Fu and Triple Jiao. let me give some brifing about it before reading this chapter.
Six fu :-The six fu contains the gallblander, the stomach, the large intestine, the small intestine, the urinary bladder and the triple jiao.their common characteristic is excretion without storage, that is to say,to digest and transmit water and food and to discharge the waste.since the six fu has to be emtpy to perform transporting and transforming food function well, the moving styles of qi of six fu should be downward and unobstructed.
The Triple-Jiao:- The term “triple jiao” is a peculiar phrase in the visceral manifestation theory of TCM. It collectively refers to the upper- jiao, middle- jiao, and lower- jiao, and is one of the six fu-viscera.its meridian connects with the pericardium, with which it is externally-internally related.

ok enjoy the Chapter
