Editor wanted : Why don't you edit the studentBMJ?

The studentBMJ is looking for a medical student to be the new student editor for a year.

This job requires you to:

* Commission, peer review, select, edit, and write articles
* Be involved with all aspects of publishing the journal
* Liaise with internal departments such as marketing, production and advertising
* Coordinate our network of international student advisers

To apply for this job, you need enthusiasm, self-motivation and imagination. Suitable candidates should have clinical experience and an excellent standard of written English. We will be particularly interested in applicants with some previous experience of medical or other journalism.

You will be based at the BMJ offices in central London. We are looking for someone to start in June 2007 to shadow the current student editor. You will report to the senior editor of the studentBMJ. Your annual salary will be £20 741.
