Ya, it is not only common but a compulsion too. In Germany a 4 month long elective ( locally called FAMULATUR) is one of the criterias to be eligible to take Final State examination. And electives in foreign countries are prefered. I know there are lot of guys from here who do it in various hospitals in nepal from IOM, KMH to Aampipal of Gorkha.
So, i personally think it would really be wise to offer an informative thread in our forum, like in old forum.
And I feel really sorry that foreign students are not allowed to do internship in nepal despite their crazy interest in nepal.
