PREFACE TO THE FIRST EDITION

Keeping aside the exponential advancement in medicine and talking about the basics, it is where many of us get flunked. Students just striding the clinical phase are in even more quandary about what to read and where to read. Well, there are many standards book for that inspite of it many of us fail to stress on the basic clinical aspects noting this deficiency we have attempted to put before the students a concise and must know the text covering many clinical topics (history taking, examination, x-ray, instruments, clinical procedure, FAQs etc.)
