Unhappy Re: Medical education: at what cost? - 16-07-2006, 08:35 PM

I fully agree that medical education and profession is a complex issue. The cost of education is much higher than other fileds and the latest books books and journals are more expensive. The post graduate exams. are always essential as compare to any other field. The the government and people expect best from any doctor both professionaly and ethicaly(The best cure which may not have been discovered and for absolutely free, rather poor patients should get free medcines from the doctors themselves). The services shold be round the clock. The doctors should work in the most remote areas without any other services providing to them. The GP should be a person who is specialist of all the diseases. The doctors are very riich and rich doctors are not good doctors they are butchers. Only medcines are costly and not the other things like cars, prperty. Praised are the celebreties and politicans. In medicine money goes to pharmaceutical companies to publishes and private hospital owners.
It is funniest profession.
