Since 2063/4/3, IMCI said to treat with Ciprofloxacin ear drops for chronic ear infections and Ciprofloxacin tablets to Dysentry.As we read in pharmacology that quinolones damage the cartilage so should not be used in children.
I am attaching the dosage of Cipro given in IMCI. Can anybody find out the reason on giving Cipro to children?
