and here i would like to add a few as well.
My point of discussion was to bring forthsome practical points which could be used in our life and bring some changes .....like NLP,stretching,and other tools for personal development.
Here , i would like to share one called - STRETCHING.
It simply means -IF YOU CAN'T , YOU MUST.
Very often, we set limiting beliefs of who we could be because of the environment we live in, my point is - isn't it , what took us time to change was our mental preparation, change happened in an instant , when we said our self NO MORE NOW, THATS IT, IF I M GOING TO LIVE, IT AS SUCH AND SUCH.
Stretching simply means freeing mind of the limiting belief , and challenging mind to go for something we though previously was impossible.
You may think , who the hell am i to tell these things..... ya, i agree,
but thats what sharing knowledge is about,.if u feel it can be used in your life,
go for it, just test it, and if it does not work, why bother.........there are many ways life could be turned into masterpiece..
Second , tool i would like to share is about the POWER OF STATE.
We all can harness our best resources in the a more positive state, and the good news is state is not a stimulus-reaction response. It can be cultivated,
we have the power to change our state in an instant and be our best in any situation......
Applications:
State=mental representation + physiology
So, whenever in times of adversity,when u are tested, focus on the times you handled the situation really well. Ask yourself questions like
what if i handle this situation nicely, how much it will mean to me and to others as well.
We can also instantly change our state by simply changing the way we use our breathing,body.........try this ( it works for me)
Whenever u feel depressed , look up and try to smile........i mean, depression has a certain physiology attached to it, if you change that , its real hard to be depressed, isn't it?
For stretching
Decide something new that you have been putting it off, may a simply phone call or what ever, which you haven't found time to do yet.....
Say ur plan to someone, make a public declaration. Its very hard not to do something , when u have said someone about it, better yet say it to someone, who is going to say " How are u going on your goal , haa".
Now, why do i want to share this. I believe that one key ingredient for a doctor is to be HUMAN too. Patients could be better understood, if we also knew why do we do the things we do. I am trying to study and know about what makes the difference in the quality of human life and any such tools on life skills and personal development or any thing about humanity is WELCOME..............
