Thanx Mingma for that useful article.
Well, I am not such a good person at managing time myself to be honest, but I'd like to add a few things out of my experience.
First, I think it is more logical to plan our energy levels than our time... well, yes they probably mean the same in a lot of circumstances but haven't all of us had one of those days when we wake up and feel like we just spent the entire day working our brains out? On other days, we have spent more time at our tables than we would have probably had normally and feel like there's still some more 'energy' to go for more. I think that this is normal for everyone and I don't know for others but when I make a routine for myself then I can hardly ever follow it down to every minute. In fact it kind of adds more stress to the workload already at hand.
So, I guess it's wiser to go to sleep if you are tired and have a good night's sleep before you set to work rather than stuffing things up right then just because your schedule tells you so. What good is all the time in the world if you can't make the most out of it?
I think it's what comes out of the time that is more important than how much time you spend doing something. |
