Government - am sure they didnt plant to bomb there. And are we not the one who is responsible for making the government? Why blame the government now? We make the government, it does not come into existence by itself in democratic country. And if you think politicians who are in the government right now are bunch of idiots and are responsible for all this, then come forward and make the government yourself. Have U ever even thought of doing that? There is plenty of space for you. If you cannot, then why do U have the rights to blame those who are there? |
Dear Walrus,
I strongly disagree with you in this context. I think we Nepali people have experimented enough with all types of systems starting from the Panchayat to the 'Prajatantra-wala' democracy to King's rule to the present 'loktantra-wala' democracy. We have even seen the 10 year long 'Janayuddha' of the maoists.
If we go back in the timelane to last year's 19 day long people's movement, do you remember that in the first few days, there were just handful of people in the streets because the public had already seen these idiots in power. It turned into huge mass only after these idiots publicly said that they had repented their previous
MISdeeds and then only people forgave them and came to the streets
hoping for better. This is how the present government came into existence. The maoists had fought enough, 13000+ lives were lost and many were left homeless. When they wanted to come into the mainstream, the Nepali people, wishing for a peaceful society, welcomed them totally forgiving them and expecting some changes from them. But as we all know, it has turned to be the same whiskey in a new bottle. Anything happens here, there is always an excuse that this is a transition phase and there is only one place to point the fingers, the Narayanhiti palace. I am sure if free and fair elections are held, these jerks will totally be
eradicated. After all, we are sick and tired of these people. Just look at the news these days, all posts in the government are being shared by 8-party. Aren't posts like Sachib, Chancellor of University something that should be filled by capable people or are they something that should be equally distributed among the vultures ? And going back to the free and fair elections, wasn't the elections supposed to be held in Jestha ? These vultures just wanted to stick their buttocks onto the seats and that's how the elections have been postponed to Mangsir 6th and that too with a question mark taller than the Dharahara. If they had the guts to fight the elections in a free and fair election, I am sure new faces will come into the nation-building task.
Coming to your statement the government did not plant the bomb there. Walrus, this is a very childish statement. The government should be held fully responsible for the bombings. Aren't all the security forces under their control ? What the hell is the intelligence of the security forces doing ? I am sure 3 bombs going off at the same time was not a mere coincidence but a planned terrorist activity. The government had no clue about such act. This is a shame and moreover, it occurred in the heart of the capital. If this is the condition of security in the capital, one can only leave the security task of rest of the nation upon Lord Pashupatinath. If you observe, at this period in the history of the country, the most demoralised people in the country are the security forces. After the bombings, did any responsible official visit the sites and the hopsitals ? Few of these vultures showed their corrupt faces only after 24 hours. Isn't that true ? It's already 100+ hours and the government says they are still probing onto the matter. Is that what a responsible government ought to say ?
So Walrus, sorry to say, but you should rethink upon the matter. Are we not sick and tired of our government ?
