I would like to make something clear about the authentic name and abbreviation of my medical school. Suman had been interestingly participating in the discussion with the xenomed administration.
To talk about the name, around 10 months ago, it was Kathmandu University Medical School (KUMS). Then, KU teaching hospital, Dhulikhel hospital (DHKUTH) took the responsibility of running kums in terms of finance and administration. Then, the affiliated institutes of Dhulikhel hospital, i.e. Dhulikhel Medical Institute , with kathmandu university came within the Kathmandu university mainstream. So, KUMS and dmi were collectively called KU school of medical sciences (KUSMS). And kums was called KUSMS-MBBS and dmi is called KUSMS-DMI. But, recently, student body of kums has officially declared that kusms-mbbs has again been restated to KUMS. And every official works will be in the name of kums. But when DMI is involved, They are collectively known as KUSMS. This is what all i know and its authentic. Rest, we can discuss if anyone has any queries...later...
