Pheromones - 11-08-2007, 12:14 AM

What are pheromones?
The word pheromone is derived from the Greek words pheran (to transfer) and horman (to excite). Pheromones are found throughout the animal world and are the most primal form of communication.

Pheromones are naturally occurring chemical compounds found in all insects, animals, and humans. When certain pheromones (5-alpha-androst-16-en-30one) are secreted, they dictate sexual behavior and attract the opposite sex.

Pheromones are also used by doctors as a mood enhancer and natural hormone producer to help relieve symptoms of PMS. Commercially, the latest news is the specially balanced blends which break down social barriers and help create a feeling of "friendliness" for those working with the public.

Professional Advantage Pheromones are a 99.49% pure pheromone blend proven to break down social barriers and put the person you are with immediately at ease. Although they aren't as widely known as pheromones formulated for sexual attraction, they are fast becoming the "best known secret" of anyone whose career demands public contact. Use Professional Advantage Pheromones on your body (neck, wrists and face (just in front of your ears is a favorite spot) just as you would use pheromones for sexual attraction. Use our handy refillable roll-on bottles for frequent application.

How do pheromones work ?
Pheromones are invisible and almost undetectable to the traditional sense of smell. When an adult man or woman inhales them, they send out a natural chemical signal of sex appeal or social acceptance that makes the wearer compellingly attractive

Scientists at the Universities of Colorado and Utah found that pheromones are detected through the vomeronasal organ (VNO) in the nose. The VNO functions as the distinct sensory apparatus that detects pheromones for humans. To test this idea, they placed devices inside the nose to measure cellular activity. What they found was that only the cells near the holes inside the nose react to air that contains pheromones.

To the scientist, pheromones act in a very different way from normal smells. Some years ago, researchers discovered the existence of a small organ in the nose of many animals (known as the VNO), which acts as a "detector" for pheromones much as the nose acts as a detector for odors. One of the first mammals that was found to have such an organ was the domestic pig, and thus much of the early research relating pheromone activity with behavioral actions was done with pigs. Amazingly enough, it was found that the presence of pheromones (even when the olfactory receptors had been removed) had a direct affect on social behavior. The end result of many years of experimentation determined that the VNO/pheromone effect is not dependent on any conditioning through experience, nor is it dependent upon the sense of smell.

Pheromones utilize this special organ (the VNO), which is separate from the normal smelling process. There is still much arguing about the presence of this VNO in humans, but it is well accepted that pigs and cows in the vicinity of the sex pheromones of their species will be rendered "in the mood" even if they have no sexual experience, as long as the VNO is intact. It is now commonly accepted that pheromones regulate many common biological phenomenon in humans such as the commonly observed synchronization of menstrual cycles in households where many women live together.

Pheromone products are actually specifically intended for post-adolescent adults, as this is when the natural human production of pheromones declines drastically. Applying pheromone products helps to boost levels back to (and actually many times over) normal androstenone production levels.

Does this stuff really work ?
WOW! Does it ever! You should see a big difference the very first time you wear it!

The power of Androstenone has been featured on Hardcopy, 20/20, and Dateline, in articles in Psychology Today, Medical Tribune, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, Penthouse, Playboy, Hustler, Discovery, Omni, McCalls, Cosmopolitan, Vogue, GQ, Time, and Fortune magazine, numerous medical journals, radio and television stations worldwide, newspapers from the N.Y. Times to the L.A. Times, and many other publications too numerous to list. Here are some of the great reports expressed about the androstenone pheromone:

"Minute quantities were used on a chair in a dentist's waiting room. Women patients made straight for the chair."

The Sunday Times

"Male pheromone secretions not only attract women, but repel other males."

World Medicine (journal for GP's)

"Pheromones... influence human behavior in a subtle way - Women are attracted to the smell."

The Daily Telegraph

"A male sex pheromone which has a scent that attracts females."

Time, Vol. # 115 No. # 2

"The scent is likely to produce a state of sexual excitement or arousal."

Men Only, Vol. # 44 No. # 4

"And now this Pheromone has been marketed, we've tested it - and good grief, it works."

KnaveLowell Ponte, a former consultant on exotic weapons and a Readers Digest science writer, said in an interview that "use of the recently discovered chemical Androstenone should be banned - Congress should pass a law making it a crime to use this chemical to influence voters by making politicians appear more lovable."

San Francisco Chronicle

"The stuff attracts women like you would not believe."

Colorado Telegraph

"It's something women don't consciously smell, it works on the olfactory nerves. The woman finds the man attractive but she doesn't know why." Lifestyle, Texas

McCall's magazine contained the statement "...Pheromones can improve one's love life, pheromones send out subconscious scent signals to the opposite sex that naturally trigger romantic feelings."

There is real scientific proof that pheromones attract the opposite sex. Surprisingly, scientists and the medical community, due to the overwhelming evidence from case studies, are just now accepting this phenomenon as a fact.

After four years of marriage, my wife started hinting that she needed more romance. I started using your pheromone products as a mood enhancer and found that our love life improved dramatically! Thanks for the quality gifts and fragrance products.
