    JNMA Electives have to under go formative and summative assessment during their tenure. I have released following question that has been asked during their chapter completion examination. Those who are interested will be provided with correct answer when they reply with their answers first.

    1. What is references?
    2. What are the parts of references?
    3. Give an example [main format] of reference of citing medicine style for
      1. Journal article
      2. Book
      3. Website
    4. Why references are important (advantage and disadvantages)?
    5. What happens if we do not use references in the scientific publication?
    6. How many types of referencing systems are there in the wold?
    7. What are the variation in Citing Medicine, Vancouver and Harvard style?
    8. What is plagiarism? and how it is related to references?
    9. Which kind of references are used in Nepalese bio-medical journal?
    10. In your opinion, which Nepalese biomedical journals are checking references correctly? Give example.
    11. What are the softwares for managing references? Please mention their advantage and disadvantages.
    12. Please provide example of references to this page. [how do you cite this page]
